Jenny is available for Research and Needs Analysis consultancy work within the Community and Voluntary sector in Ireland.
Jenny completed her MA in Therapeutic Child Care in May 2017 with 1st Class Honours. Her qualitative research project was titled Towards a Child Centred Therapeutic approach in DEIS primary schools. Advanced Psychology of Children and Management and Leadership skills were core modules in her studies.
Throughout this research project Jenny worked productively in consultation with schools/agencies which are based in inner city communities in Dublin.
She presented at the Social Care Ireland conference in March 2018, as part of the post-grad stream. Her presentation was entitled: An Exploration of the Strengths and Abilities of the Adults and Children in Urban Band One DEIS primary schools.
Jenny Fahy’s current role is as a part-time Outreach worker with Ascend, Women’s Domestic Abuse Service. She is the lead person in the development, implementation and delivery of the Healthy Relationships programmes to 180 young people in schools and training centres in North Tipperary in the first half of 2018.
